Saturday

Everton played very well last night, without Tony Hibbert, Phil Jagielka, Marouane Fellaini or Louis Saha.

With them coming back on Saturday (presumably), we're really going to struggle. And if we want to get seventh place, it's almost a must-win.

On the other hand, we are 'due' an away win...

Jô has five in nine for Everton. Bellamy has five in ten for City if you include the 'Arbeloa own goal' at Anfield.

But don't forget Jô is playing in a much better team.

I despair of our away form this season but we have been in this situation before in the late 70's, from memory think it was 18 months then without a win away.
In Liverpool today and the Mickeys are a bit apprehensive, a thin squad after some hard matches and they feel we are due a win.
Lets live in hope.

For once, this is a great game for us. Everton apprehensive pre FA cup, a game that (on paper) we shouldn't get much out of and we are not "hindered" by resting players for the UEFA. On the minus side, we probably have some very tired players. Good chance for Hughes to play some youth, with experience to bring on from the bench. I'm going for win.
