SWP back for Stoke?

Hughes said yesterday that SWP is expected to be out for two or three weeks, after initially fearing it would be four or five weeks.

This would mean missing Pompey (a) and Wigan (h) for sure - and returning sometime during our 11 day break from the 17th to the 28th. Then we have Newcastle (h) on Wednesday 28th and Stoke (a) on Saturday 31st.

I know I've said this twice before, but this is a crucial set of winnable games. With SWP available for the Newcastle and Stoke games, our chances of bounding up into the top half increase significantly.

Yeah Tommy I quite like that before. If he's good enough to play in midfield for Argentina I'm sure he's good enough for us there!

The only problem is that it's not really a long term solution. PabZab is a right back first and foremost, and a better one than Micah Richard IMO.

But he could be brilliant there and prove us all wrong. In which case, it's a very good solution.

i think it is better solution than sticking with vassell.

because we now have bridge, he can at least some solid grounds in the back four.

Yeah that's good.

I'm terrified that Sparky's going to go with Vassell rather than Sturridge while SWP's out.
