M.E.N.: 'Closing in' on Johnson

The latest reports:
Manchester City are closing in on Middlesbrough winger Adam Johnson to replace the departing Robinho.

MEN Sport understands the Blues have tabled a £5m bid for the 22-year-old, whose contract at the Riverside expires in the summer.
With Victor Moses to Newcastle rumours growing, I think Johnson might now be the focus.

Isn't he a right winger? Dont we have SWP + Weiss and Petrov, Bellars that do/can play in that position already?

No. He plays left wing - hence his emergence since Downing left for Villa

He seems decent but I'd rather we signed a sick left back that can tare shit up! and make Evra look ordinary.. : D
