Given talks about Mancini

Until today I had not seen Shay Given speaking anywhere about the change of management at City. It wasn't a concern, as such, but given that Craig Bellamy and Gareth Barry had spoken publicly it would be a relief when it came.

Clearly Given gave interviews to the Monday newspapers after the Middlesbrough game because Colin Young's match report in tomorrow's Daily Mail quotes Given saying these nice things:
'Mark Hughes left and I will always be grateful for him bringing me to this club, but, as a professional, you know these things happen and you have to be prepared to move on.

'The new manager has worked hard on the defence, not just the back four, but the whole team when we lose the ball. He is adamant about the way he wants his team to be set up.

'You cannot argue with the guy's record. He did great with Inter and he was a great player, so you have to respect him for that. I have been impressed with him. I like the way he knows what he wants from his teams.'
