Nedum on AJ

Those that have played with our new number 11 at England U21 level have praise for him. Here's Nedum Onuoha:
"I suppose you could describe him as an 'old fashioned' winger in that he likes sticking to the touchline but he is hard to read because he is good with either foot."

"He is a player capable of controlling games and the step back up to the Premier League will not bother him. He was perhaps a bit unlucky that Stewart Downing was in front of him at Boro.

"Adam will have no problem fitting in here. He is quite a comedian and a really good addition to the dressing room. I can't believe we now have so many great options in wide positions."

Micah Richards also has his say on the official site.

Think him and bellamy are seen as the first choice on the wings as both have shown that they are comfortable on either foot and can cut in and cause touble as well as whipping it in.

Think Petrov and SWP will struggle though on their contralateral flanks as their weaker sides aren't as good. We do however have the flexibility to change it up, options are always good to have.

I agree mate but I think SWP was having a good season - better than last year - until his injury. And it's coincided unfortunately with Mancini's arrival. But good options.
