Tévez considers City

According to Oliver Kay:

In the absence of an offer from United, whom he has accused of making him feel unwanted, Tévez is prepared to consider joining Liverpool or City as well as Chelsea, Inter Milan or Real, all of whom are free to negotiate with his adviser, Kia Joorabchian, with no objection from Old Trafford...

City cannot offer Champions League football, but the appeal of signing the forward has grown on Garry Cook, the chief executive, and Mark Hughes, the manager, since it was first proposed in January. Backed by the enormous wealth of Sheikh Mansour, the owner, the club believe that they can offer Tévez a scenario in which he would be the leading player in a team who plan to be contenders in the Premier League next season.

Good player, fantastic workrate. He'll make a big difference but we still very much need a goalscorer.

he out ran our defence the otherday and showed his quality. He would start for most premier league sides.

like i mentioned before, Kia Joorabchian was involved in the Kaka deal and has close links with the club, leaving city in a good position to negoiate with the player.

This would be a fantastic signing. A player that always gives 100% and has an eye for goal. I think I would prefer him to David Villa. Let's hope..

While I think David Villa is a better player Tevez would be a better signing as he is already EPL battle tested.

Another factor to consider is that he would be the focal point for the attack to be built around at City where at Liverpool and Chelsea that would not necessarily be the case. Also worth a mention is that he's close friends with Zabeleta so that might be another selling point.

Of all the countless rumors this one actually seems to have a hint of legitimacy. He's definitely the type of player Hughes loves and I think Sparky could get the best out of him.

Mind you - we'd have to change the Tevez song..... LOL

Made a stronger case for himself tonight. So did the Elephant Man. Tactics. Strategy. Everything that we've been missing all season. Everything that Chris Bailey has been strangely ignoring.

Suppose we could buy the trunk - it would certainly be an improvement, but I think we could probably do better than that....
