Tévez beats Kidd

No, not another training ground bust-up, but movement in our top-flight goalscoring records.

Carlos Tévez now has 23 league goals for the season, meaning that he has overtaken Assistant Manager Brian Kidd's armful of 21 from 1976/77. I think this makes it the most bounteous harvest in a top flight season since Franny Lee's 33 in 1971/72.

This is a tremendous achievement by Tevez and should not be undervalued.

Imagine how many it would have been if we had an artful passer in midfield. Let's hope we find out next season.

I know this one guy. Plays in Turkey. Believe his name Elano or something.
