Kolo backs Mancini

The captain backs the manager:
“It's really difficult to beat us and what he (Mancini) brings is that every time we play, we feel really strong," he said.

"He's bringing experience and he knows what he wants to do for this club and he needs time.

“You can't keep changing managers. Every time the players have to adapt to a new strategy and the thinking of the new manager, which is really difficult and takes time.

"With Roberto we're starting to know what he really wants and he's working well.”
I think people underestimate the difficulties involved with managerial changes and associated teething issues. The prospect of going through it all again this summer - which is quite possible, is more wearying than exciting.

Exactly right, no more chop and change please, Mancini needs three years at least

Kolo is spot on. We've got the players, we've got the money. Stability is the final ingredient.

I'm in complete agreement that we need stability if we're going to rise to the next level and the last thing we need right now is a change in managers.

I for one hope Mancini's stays regardless of where we finish. He's done an admirable job, especially given the fact the he was thrown in the deep end with no previous EPL experience.

Let's not kid ourselves. Mourinho is not coming to City anytime soon and I for one think its for the better. We need evolution not revolution and I think right now Champions league would be a step too soon. We have a solid foundation on which to build. give Mancini the proper time to build on what we have(and acquire a few sorely needed attacking midfiedlers who can unlock tight defences)and we can reach the heights to which we aspire.

In the meantime can we collectively drop the "its 4th or failure" mentality. Its not doing us any favours.
