Why no squad numbers?

New signings Craig Bellamy and Nigel de Jong are still listed as '0' on mcfc.co.uk.

The Newcastle game is just 56 hours away, so they'd better hurry up.

Or maybe they're waiting until 12, 24 and 26 get freed up?

UPDATE Have just been confirmed: Bellamy will wear 39, de Jong 34.

    Ian - I think if Danny Mills was going to leave he would have gone now. Presumably he's too injured/unfit for another club to take him, so it's just a case of waiting out these last six months.

    Bellamy's been given 39, same as Anelka had. Could this be some sort of omen?

    I really hope we sign Given, I'd half expected us to make a move for Cudicini seeing as he's gone to Spuds for nought.

    yea bluephill i agree,,, carlo would of been a good choice for this season ..he is a talented goalie. Hopefully given will be tied up after the toon match
