I was suprised and slightly disappointed to see the captaincy back with Toure at the weekend. Agree with you that de Jong is a natural leader, already one of our main spokesman off the pitch for the team and leads by example on it.
nah. he's not your bigger picture character. puts himself on the line and is a formidable athelete and enforcer, but too often drifts deeper and deeper when we need people to contest the midfield.

ReplyDeleteNo, I think Vincent Kompany should be captain. Good organiser, leads by example and will get more game time than NDJ.
